Happy Mail Success ...

Continued from my earlier post today ...

I went to the Post Office nearest my eldest son's school to post these two packages ...

AND the lady working there said

"Oh I love these envelopes with drawings on.  They are so much fun!"

Success!

And there's two more ...

I had another go last night...

I finished colouring and doodling one envelope that is not yet been allocated a recipient; and I also doodled on two more that I knew were going out today.

And I addressed these using my Berol Calligraphy pen - it's been a long long time since I used that!

They are not brilliant I admit it!  However it's giving me enjoyment to create them and I can only get better!

Stationery with an "e"!

I love stationery!

All of it ... notepaper, cards, envelopes, notelets, notebooks, notepads, journals, tags, postcards, washi tape .... all of it!

I am a Independent Phoenix Trader - hence the "Phoenix" part in the name.  This is an absolutely fantastic job to have!  I love all the products and I get to sell them.  (I also get to use them myself which is just a nice cherry on top!)

Does anyone else love stationery as much as I do?  Did you know that you could work alongside me as part of my team?  I would love to have you along for the stationery (ha ha!) ride!  If this sparks a little interest in you then please do contact me (with no obligation at all).

It is brilliant as it can totally fit into your life - you can do as much or as little as you wish - but remembering the more you put in the more you get out!

Okay ... now let me tell you something else that I've recently "discovered"!  I guess I always knew it was about but never really looked into it that much.

I am talking about decorated envelopes ... mail art ... illustrated envelopes!  Oh my!  I was on Pinterest the other day and stumbled across some pins showing it ... and that was it ... I spent (wasted?) almost a whole day on it!

Do go and have a nosey and hopefully you'll agree with me!

You see one of the other things I like to do is draw.  I have been sadly neglecting that past-time recently.  So ... I have picked up my pencil and pens and I am having a go!  It is early days and I am experimenting with different ideas and colours.  My first attempt went out in the mail today to a very good friend of mine.

What do you think?  I thought I'd try something bright and happy.  I rather like the fact of the colourful and artistic (hopefully!) envelopes going through the mailing system and maybe bringing a smile or two from the Post Workers and the recipient too!

Oh and before I forget one of my pet hates is STATIONERY being spelt wrong!  An extremely easy way to remember that stationery has an e for envelope in it which is apt considering envelopes are an essential part of stationery!

Anyway, moan over ... and here's to Happy Mail!!!!
